In a nutshell, when I use CHI’s keratin hair products, my hair could experience some pretty awesome improvements over time. Here’s what I might see according to Farouk Systems:
- more shine,
- stronger hair, so less hair breakage,
- less frizz,
- less split ends,
- it becomes “manageable” and soft.
So, here’s the scoop. I recently decided to switch up my hair color by dyeing it, but unfortunately, that left my hair feeling extremely dry. Furthermore, it impacted my hair porosity in a very negative way.
Not wanting to give up, I decided to try out the following CHI Keratin hair products:

CHI Keratin Shampoo review

- Contains Jojoba oils and Argan oil.
- Protects and strengthens.
- Provides shine.
- Helps prevent hair hair loss and breakage.
Now, let’s talk about the texture. As you can see in the picture above, it looks like a luxurious balm. It spreads easily throughout your hair, making it a breeze to apply.
And the best part? After using this shampoo, my hair felt unbelievably soft. Plus, this CHI shampoo doesn’t leave my curls feeling dry or sticky.
Oh, and did I mention how much I love the texture and the scent? It’s a real treat for the senses. In fact, I enjoyed using it so much that I thoroughly enjoyed emptying the bottle.
How to use it
- First, make sure to wet your hair completely.
- Then, take about a teaspoon of the CHI Keratin Shampoo and gently apply it to your scalp.
- Give yourself a nice scalp massage while spreading the shampoo all over.
- Once you’re done, rinse out the shampoo from your hair and give it another wash.
- If needed, you can repeat these steps again.
If you tend to use a lot of greasy and heavy hair products, you can include the rest of your hair in the second round of washing. Just make sure to rinse it out right away.
CHI Keratin Conditioner review
Features of this CHI Conditioner are:

The CHI Keratin Conditioner is a reconstructive conditioner that works to restore moisture using natural essential oils and keratin called Keratix.
What’s really interesting is that it replenishes your hair’s own keratin, strengthening and sealing your hair cuticles. This helps to protect your hair from any future thermal damage. It’s like a shield for your precious locks.
It also includes the goodness of Argan oil and Jojoba oil. These oils are known for their amazing properties, so you can say goodbye to dry and dull hair.
How to use it
- Once you’ve finished shampooing, go ahead and generously apply some CHI Keratin Conditioner to your wet hair.
- Don’t forget to pay extra attention to the ends and middle section of your hair.
- Leave it on for a relaxing 3 to 5 minutes, and then rinse it out thoroughly with lukewarm or cold water.
Personally, I like to leave this amazing CHI conditioner in my hair for about 10 to 30 minutes. It works wonders and leaves my hair incredibly silky smooth!

The best part? It doesn’t leave any sticky residue and it leaves your hair feeling incredibly soft and silky.
Now, some people use CHI Silk Infusion as a heat protectant, but that’s not its main purpose. This serum is actually a reconstructing serum that works wonders on dry, damaged hair by repairing and hydrating it.
If you’re specifically looking for a heat protectant, I recommend checking out CHI’s 44 Iron Guard Thermal Protection Spray. It’s a good option for keeping your hair safe from heat damage.
How to use CHI Silk Infusion
When it comes to using the Silk Infusion, just remember not to go overboard. Using too much might make your hair feel greasy, and we definitely don’t want that. A pea-sized amount is all you need.
Also, you can use it on wet and on dry hair. Rinsing out is not necessary.
Do you have dry hair? Use a leave-in conditioner first before using the CHI Silk Infusion.
Don’t have dry hair? Feel free to use the Silk Infusion without a leave-in conditioner.
How to apply:
- Grab a small amount of Keratin Silk Infusion and give it a gentle rub between your palms.
- Distribute it evenly throughout your hair: start at the ends and work your way up, focusing on the midsection of your hair and your ends.
- Don’t forget to lightly rub the remaining product on the top section of your hair, moving from the roots down.
- Then continue and style your hair as you normally would.
My result after more than 4 weeks of use
I’ve been testing out these CHI hair products for the past few weeks to see if they live up to their promises. And let me tell you, there were a few things that really impressed me right from the start.
First off, a little goes a long way with these products. If you only wash your hair once a week, these bottles will last you for months!
But what really stood out to me was the amazing results I saw after just the first and second use. My dry hair had a beautiful shine to it, and it felt incredibly smooth and silky, like I had just stepped out of a salon.
And the best part? My hair smelled fantastic, not with a sweet coconut scent, but with a refreshing and pleasant aroma.
Now, I should mention that I have pretty dry curly hair, so just using the CHI shampoo, conditioner and silk infusion wasn’t quite enough for me. I just needed a little extra help with hydration, but that can easily be solved by using a leave-in conditioner.
